Had my instrument panel, clock & headlamp switch illumination go out suddenly tonight Climate control panel was still lit up fine though Pulled into a garage to check the fuse & it looked fine, but replaced it anyway, but no joy Drove 200 yards from garage to taxi rank & turned engine & lights off.....then waited for a fare Passenger gets in, I start the car, turn the lights on & what do you know...I have illumination of the dash again, & it was fine all night Scorpio Gremlins ?

Yep, it's the headlight switch. Pin 15 shows signs of overheating....but why would it overheat ? P.S...I really should have looked at the fault finder page first, it's all there

Sorry about starting this rather trivial problem post....I really should have known how to sort it out by referring to the fault finding guide But it's been so long since anything has gone wrong with my Scorp, that I've forgotton how to fix it
