I've just cleaned all the contacts on my remote also changed the batteries, as I had it of for over an hour I decided to have my tea, in all it was of for about 2-3 hours. I went back out to the car and what do you know, it worked, WITHOUT RESETTING! Why, how. I'm not complaining but how did it do that.

Mine used to do that, had the batts out for a couple of days once while I got new ones, took it out to program and it unlocked no problem. The supernatural power of Scorpio, just be glad it likes you at the moment...the flip side is not as much fun

It may have a capasitor in the circuit that will store a voltage while batteries are being changed, could be that it is an extra good one at holding the charge.... pete
