Can anyone tell me what size socket I need to buy to remove the 6 spark plugs from my 24v engine. I remember reading some thing about a magnetic type of socket but where it was god knows. grandadman

Grandad. To avoid confusion at the shop you will find that some manufacturers ie: Draper refer to plug sockets as 10 or 14mm as it refers to the actual size across the threads NOT the actual hexagon nut. So the 10mm threaded plug has a hexagon size of 16mm. The larger 14mm threaded plug has a hexagon of 21mm. In all cases the socket has a rubber insert it it which grips the plug top and secures it in the socket for removal. Hope all is going well. Best wishes, Mike.
