cannot reprogram remote

Hi,
Im having trouble programing my remote after changing the batteries, i have also purchased some others and the wont program either. i have checked to see if they are giving out a signal and the two remotes are so im thinking there my be a problem with a control unit or something, if any one has any idea's i would be very greatful, jaffa.

There are various ways of programming the remote, but they don’t all work on all cars.
Have you tried the way detailed here (it should work for any scorp):

Hi jaffa, did you get your remote to work in the end? mine has just packed up and I was wondering how you checked to see if it was putting out a signal? I've done all the usual checks eg, flat battery connection problems etc but it won't programme anymore. It used to do it no problem with the ignition switch but just stopped working so I suspect it's dead
