Hello! I recently had a few problems. First were that my trunck won't open and had climb inside throught back seats and open them manually as the key won't open it too. i saw that my boot light not working too, but the bulb is in working order. Second were my interior lights at the roof and foot light clusters. They were working, but now they don't. i mean all of them! Fuse is ok. Fuse is for Audio/ interior light. Third is for that my backup light not working too. When it shift the gear to R.... nothing happens, no backup lights and as usually bulbs are ok! I can't find fuse for backup lights! Maybe someone has a clue what can be wrong? Maybe somekind of Unit went dead? Thanks in advance!!!

| All of it because of the boot loom? Everything came step by step in short time! Maybe anyone else can say something about it?

Well, all the faults except the int lights run through the boot loom which is known to fray/chafe at the hinge. But I remember someone once lost their interior lights from the boot hinge fault. Otherwise, parhaps the infamous fusebox connector multiplug come adrift or some moisture in the fuseboxes? AFAIK, the reverse lamps at least don't rely on any computerised module, as I remember from the diagrams they take straight live feed through the gear selector switch. Regards, Bruce.

The rear loom can get trapped under the back seat too, check where it comes up over the rear wheel arch.
