CD changer problem

Got fed up with my CD selection so decided to put some different ones in...and now it won't play any !
Just goes through the discs one by one and says 'CHECK DISCS'  Huh

Have tried different discs and both of my spare magazines.

Got me stumped.

Any ideas ?

Did all the old CDs come out? - one of my changers did this, I hadn't noticed that a disk was still in the player!

Also check the cable - unplug it and make sure the cable is ok - if it is the 2006 it may have a poor earth a few inches back from the cable (I found this when I did the 2006 to 2007 upgrade).

Mike, there is a known fault with the wiring to these units. Is it possible that it could have been disturbed in any way whilst you were changing the discs?.

UPDATE. Typing at the same time as Dave!.
