hiya lads
i changed a few dud bulbs in the c/c fascia yesterday and noticed a funny thing.
before i removed the fascia i turned the blower tooff and removed the ribbon tape.on driving down to the local motor factors to get replacement bulbs the blower started as if on full speed.is this right or is there a underlying problem somewhere?
i removed the multiplug of the a/c pump multiplug recently for M.O.T.(under tompions instructions)to stop a idle surge problem at tickover when the a/c kept coming on and off at 1 minute intervals and sending revs from 850 to 1100.this solved the problem but i am wondering if the two are related.
also i got a 07 on the l/h screen when i self-diagnosed.
hope you can give some advice
thanks Undecided

Yes, the blower does blow at full pelt when the ribbon cable is removed & an 07 code would indicate a problem with the HBC, although I suppose the code could have been generated by the removal of the ribbon cable  Smiley
