Bonnet release eventual cause of problem

Just to update on the bonnet saga, now found the cause and it might be worth people checking their release catch to prevent a similar problem. The fault was in the little rubber grommet that is meant to keep the release cable inside the release arm, that had rotted and allowed the cable to jump out, 2 cable ties now prevent it happening again hope this is of some use to you all.
