hi to all members, well our daughter is going to be very happy..her 2.3 ultima estate has passed its MOT this morning, the tester did draw my attention to a rear wheel bearing that may need to be replaced before the next MOT..just a little play in the bearing but not enough to fail the car...a job for dad in the new year. Smiley.regards den. Smiley.

don't leave it!!!

any movement will end up taking out the hub as well.
you don't get much warning when it goes.

Snoopy has done a step by step write up  Grin HERE. As Andrew says DO NOT LEAVE IT. You will need a 'brake wind back tool' in order to wind back the rear caliper piston as it is a screw thread ( for the handbrake) so you cannot push it back. You also will need a large torque wrench to get the nut tightened to 200ft/lbs which is way beyond the range of most DIY torque wrenches.  Wink
