rich1.
Say Scorpio Cosworth to a Ford dealer, and it's like asking for hen's teeth ! I have had a chain tensioner on order since the spring, they just keep saying it's on back order,I got a bypass hose though, must have been the last one in the land !
Suppose the next word from them will be"sorry mate, they're obsolete. Roll Eyes

Can you not get the old water pump reconditioned somewhere ?  Undecided......I mean, there isn't really much inside a water pump - impellor, shaft, bearings & seals  Smiley

Look on the bright side here, I was running around in a Daewoo Leganza before the Scorp and you want to try to get hold of parts for one of them!

10 days at Ford seems like a walk in the park, rather then trawling internet recon sites and scrap yards.

I'm glad to be back with a manufacturer that still exists, even if the model is discontinued!

Best Wishes!

The Pump for the 12 v should be readily available. I understand the previous model one fits, MOST motor factors still supply these. Worth Checking.
