Trying to get the computer to register in mph rather than kph.  Tried suggestions in manual, but no go. Any suggestions?  Thanks  Fred W

Hi Fred, yes keep trying....sometimes lack of use makes the contacts sticky. Secondly remove it and spray with contact cleaner...will have some with me on 30/11 if you don't have any. May be one of the lads will have a spare one they could bring. I'll look in my 'spares' box.  Wink

have you been getting the flicking dash needles?
 
anyway, the trip computer works on a resistant value. by using a combination of buttons, you should be able to get it to swap back to mpg.
 
best to clean up and insides as stated earlier.

Problem Solved!
It was probably a combination of all the faults mentioned. After a minute of pressing the two buttons together--Bingo the display reverted to mph.  Thanks everyone for your input to this thread.
Some might say that it wasnt a real problem in the first place, but I like to see  everything on the car working.
