2.3 16v 1996 problem - pls help

Hi everybody. I am new.
About 10 days ago the engine runs rough like 3 cylinders at idle. Towed the car to the mechanic.
Mechanic computer check gives TPS signal too high with reach mixture.
 
I Changed CPS sensor  - coils- and spark plugs cables plus rebuild wire to CPS and  wire to coils that were cracked.
 
The engine runs ok for 2 days, during the 2 days the idle was  high about 1200 rpm. After 2 days the engine does the same problem. I removed the spark plugs they were black of smoke.
 
Weather on this period of time was with  rain on/off.  
 
Ok, I cleaned the spark plugs - cleaned the air filter-clenaed butterfly valve and replaced the air fuel regulator.
 
But the problem is still there. Idle very rough. I insisted on accelerator. The engine runs on 4 cylinders sounding almost ok. Tested the car on the road but very rough again as it wants to die.
 
Could it be the pump or pump relay?
 
Dirty injectors?
 
pls give me you all an advice.

sounds like you have an air/vac leak making the car think it's running lean, which it then increases the mixture.
 
check for any leaks using wd40. spray a little along the intake manifold and egr valve. check all rubber tubes for any leaks.

Have you tried cleaning the idle control valve & the MAF sensor with some carb cleaner ?  Smiley

I wonder why the engine  run ok for 2 days and then the problem appeared again.  
 
It is really frustrating I have to tow the car again.
 
Any other help so I can avoid spending money again for towing.
 
I called the mechanic on the phone he said to run the engine and intercept which cylinder is failing by disconnecting the plugs  one by one to see which one does not make difference when disconnected.  
He thinks maybe an injector fault or again wiring loom fault.
 
I don't think this is the right check because when I removed the plugs they were all black of smoke so the problem affect all cylinders.
