Heater Problem

Hello Scorplovers Cheesy
My heater works fine except that it never seems to blow really warm air.   Even with the temp controls set to 24 the heat is mediocre.     The A/C is fine and cuts in and out as it should do, but my daughters old escort really warms up in no time. What could it be?
ps The blower works correctly.   Any comments welcome.
cheers Fred

Furred up matrix ? are both pipes really hot ? if not,bad circulation through heater. If yes poor heat exchange,or air flap problems.

Fred. Before you despair it could just be an air lock. You really need to check the temperature of the pipes as they enter and leave the matrix. Some lads have had success by 'back flushing' the matrix to clear the sludge.  No doubt someone will advise/check on Sunday. Wink. If Johnny cab is there he's the expert on removing air locks!. Thanks Lads,  I dont think I`m up to a matrix removal job after just having the dash out to replace bulbs!  My guess is a flush out if possible.  Theres def some water getting through as theres some heat there.    All the aircon and air flap controls seem to be OK.  Perhaps I can do a comparison on Sunday.  At least the seat heater keeps my bum warm!  See you Sunday, hopefully the rain will hold off.  cheers fred.
