Fred, I remember having read somewhere on the website, probably around the Remote Fob pages, that using the WDS/FDS2000 OBD one can program 1, 2 flashes or none for alarm setting, thus production allowing for country dependent laws. The Swiss are different than the Germans etc.

It may also be on one of my TIS CD-ROMS, I will have a look.
Ring a bell for anyone?

All systems checked and found to be OK.  Maybe Tompion can programme the above code in when we next meet.  cheers  Fred

Fred, We know he's a miracle worker BUT unless I'm mistaken this can only be done with the FDS 2000 kit which is a main dealer unit.

I suspect it’s just a problem with a wire/connecter that feeds the flasher relay.
You could check it really is double locking – leave a window open, double lock it, reach in and check that you can’t open the door. (Be ready with the key in case the alarm goes off).

Hello All,
Yes, the double locking is working, as I can hear it operating, and the led above the dash is giving the right signal.  Its not worth the time and money to get my local main dealer to recode the unit so I`ll leave it at that for now.   Thanks for all the interesting comments.
I hope you all have a good Christmas holiday, and I`m looking forward to the next Kent meet in the new year.
All the Best.  Freddieboy Smiley Smiley Smiley

No, Its locked up in my safe at the moment Grin
I`m waiting for the next Kent meet to hand it over
I doubt if anything can be done with it due to its unusual design.
The new one was well worth the outlay, after 5 mins from sub zero and settings at 22degrees, the heat is almost unbearable.  Lovely Smiley     Cheers fred

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I’ll regret saying this, but my heating is fine (perhaps not as fierce as it should be though) since I last steamed the matrix. Had it to 26 with an outside temp of -5 on Saturday morning.

I know it won’t last, so I’d still like to see Fred’s old matrix, so I can measure up to hopefully clear each tube individually. Of course if I manage that it’ll start leaking.

I don’t really want to have my dashboard out as someone has had the dash off before and broken a lot of the plastic hence I keep tying to fix the matrix in situ.
