Here we go again.....97 2.3 manual with 3 speed heater control. 2 months ago the blower stopped working in positions 1 and 2 but was fine on pos 3....on inspection could see the wires to the module terminals had melted....eek.....snipped off the burnt bits and connected some new wiring using plastic screw type connectors...all OK although still only working on position 3....Today the blower stopped working completly and the new wires have melted again!!!!! Really worried about a potential fire now so will not repair again......can anyone suggest why the burn out....is there a relay that could cause this or should I get an autoelectrician to try and trace the fault?
