Anybody else had this? Annoying because its just about the only noticable noise when driving. Any tips for fixing? MC

I agree it's so d**n annoying, even more so for me as both front seats creak on mine. I first noticed it when I took it out on a test drive prior to buying it but I wrongly thought it was just the leather and my bulk. On later inspection I noticed that one of the seat base legs to the guide rails was broken on the drivers seat. I replaced it but unfortunately it didn't cure the problem. I have even since put a cloth between the seats and the centre console and put felt on the console where the belt lock rides against. Neither attempts have made any difference to the noise levels. Now the plan is when (if) the weather finally improves is to take them both out and inspect them properly. At the the same time I will be replacing both cushion pads. So time will tell. Let us know how you get on if you attempt a cure for as you say it ruins a otherwise pleasant drive.
