climate error code

checked my climate control today keep on getting error code 57. as anybody got a clue what this meens reason for checking dosnt seem to be working properly goes cold sometimes. dave

57 code is the same as an 07 code & points to a HBC problem.....http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/ccreset.htm Regarding it blowing cold, does it go from hot to cold & then hot again ? If so, have you tried a reset yet ? (in the above link) Or does it blow cold continually ?....if so then you may have a problem with the heater matrix. Just a point, the climate control does blow hot & cold in order to try & keep the temperature it is set at

thanks for that info by the way if set the blower manualy and turn the temp up to hi it is hot all the while.
