Lost VNR 9000 Security Panel :(

Looks like I may have lost the security panel for my VNR 9000 
Are these panels interchangeable between head units or are they coded somehow?
Anybody had their VNR nicked got a panel going spare?
Or do I have to just bite the bullet and start looking for another complete unit?
