Hi again got a small problem sometimes not allways when you put car into gear it will stall normally it will do this twice then all is normal again. this happens with ac on or of. cossie auto. dave49uk

I have the same prob with my scorp, Sometimes it stalls , mostly when i put it in reverse, Or when i turn the wheel full lock. and mostly when the A/C is on................. strange....  sometimes i wish i was clever<<<<< mechanicaly.... the  only things iv,e learnt is on this site.. maybe i,ll tell more , sometime.. Smiley

David, sounds like it could be a sticking autobox solenoid....they tend be worse in winter at start up on a frosty morning  Smiley
 
tonyboy, if it's stalling when the steering is on full lock, then you may have a faulty power steering pressure switch  Smiley
 
What does the autobox fluid look like ?

hi there
 
i'd go for giving the idle by valve a clean. to be it sounds like it's not holding the revs with a load is applied.
 
remember to take note of the direction the multi plug is facing as the valve can go on the wrong way round.
 
there you go, 3 ideas to work from!

remember that photo is looking through the bulkhead, so to speak. IE the back of the engine.
