Similar to the low coolant light with no switch,I've discovered cruise control equipment fitted under the bonnet, with no steering wheel switches. Is this another strange Scorpio anomaly ?  Roll Eyes

hi there

is it definitely cruise control and not traction control?

cruise control is at the o/s headlight, traction control is the n/s headlight.

Yes Andrew,it's the same limo with the booming engine,it is on the offside as normal, complete with cable to the accelerator quadrant to pull on throttle. It's the first 2.3 I've had with it,all the 2.9s have it with the typical steering wheel controls.Beginning to wonder about this car,I bought it by mistake, wrote the wrong lot number down, someone else went off with mine !!  Undecided

I haven't looked under the back seat yet  Wink These funeral cars are usually quite good according to who ran them, they are of course, always at the mercy of useless garage hands, possibly even more so at FMD,many of them are quite unable or unwilling to grasp even the basics of mechanics and electrics, and in these 'enlightened' times you can't unload the blighters.Time was that you had a predetermined trial period in any job,if you were no use,off you went !!
