Estate - Ultima Rear Seats

I have had some feedback from the list to the effect that the rear seat does not lift up and fold forward as in the saloon, therefore making it impossible to have a level car bed for the whole length. Looking on the site the seat workshop manual does not mention the fact that the rear seat cushion on the estate does not fold forward, but I can't see any straps on mine. Does any one know whether you could install part or all of a back seat from the saloon to rectify this problem. Any help would be appreciated. Ian Wallace

The rear squab certainly does fold forward. You may need to ease the front seats forward a little to enable the backs to fold fully flat. The worse problem is getting the seat belt fittings up again when you replace the rear squab!!. I have an Ultima estate. Mike.
