Symptoms:- Even with the fans at full chat, there is only a very slight amount of air blowing out of the fascia vents, regardless of temp and direction (footwell, windscreen etc). The system is SATC. All the vents are open. I've tried a CC reset. Pollen filters have been replaced. Fan IS blowing properlly (you can hear it). What else do I need to look at?

Check the actual vent assembly. When I bought one of mine, the wheel and rest of the vent parts had all become disconnected with the vents in the closed position. No matter how much I moved the wheel, the vents stayed shut. Baz

Nope, no fault codes I'll get the fascia off when the weather brightens up to have a nosey at the motor/flaps/controls.

I have a car that fixes itself - take that you Beemer drivers! I'm not sure whether this is a good thing or a bad thing but it's fixed itself! Air distribution controls work in all modes now My guess is it must have got stuck at the end of it's travel and a bump or something freed it. On the topic of good news - the "ABS light on above 15mph" hasn't happened for a week now - that seems to have fixed itself too! Now, if only it would fix it's noisy air con compressor and slight play in the steering rack I'll be laughing
