I have 98 cossie and ABS and traction control lights nearly always on. Both work sometimes when car first started but come on again after cornering. Have looked for connectors below abs unit but cant find them. PS. I'm not very mechanicaly minded.

If they're coming on after cornering, then it's possible that there is movement in one of the rear wheel bearings Worth cleaning the rear sensors as tlundkvi suggests .....If the sensors are covered in muck, then this will cause the ABS & TC warnings lights to come on. Also, pull up the rear seat & check that the sensor multiplugs are pushed home

Thanks everyone appears there was an even simpler solution. I disconnected the front connectors in the wheel arches and gave them a spray of wd40. Problem solved
