Locked for good

Hello all!

Got an issue here... I have only one key for my car and a fob. The key has been stuck in the ignition for the last 2 months, waiting for me to find time to take the barrel out an rebuild it. It wasn't a problem as I was using the fob to lock/unlock the car. Until recently. After a while of not using the batteries have died on me and I ended up with a locked car and a dead remote...
Is there a way to get inside without braking the window?

Hope to find some help here.

Kindest Regards,
drmousse

With out breaking the windows you can . . .

1 Join AA or RAC leave it 2 days

2  call them up and say . . . .

3 Find a good lock smith

Hi,

Sorry Gazza but don't think you've helped him much
There is a way to unlock the car without any damage but I don't think I can post it here for the public as it will give every kid a way to unlock a Scorpio in 60 seconds Wink
If the Administrators have no objections please let me know and I will post the solution.

The 'Admin' are aware of the solution thank you BUT Snoopy is the only one who will divulge the information and only then after satisfying himself as to the validity of the request etc. for exactly the reasons you state.  Wink

The AA man told me to break the window and call the insurance company...

So could anyone please tell me what to do? I can't access my car... And in the end it looks like I'm going to have to smash the window...

NO PM received here this end .
Any way if it is NOT dead locked as I suspect it isn't as the keys are in the lock then you might just be able to ease the top corner of the door away carefully and put the old fashioned steel/metal coat hanger in to release the door lever on the opposite side.
