Memory seat problems

On my 1998 Ultima, there is the function to press one of three buttons of a switch on the driver's door, to make the seat/wing mirrors go to a previously programmed position. This function has stopped working. I have had local Ford garage diagnostically check and they say "all wiring OK". Problem appears to be modules etc but garage says ' parts may not be available for 11 year old car. Have not had much luck so far with breakers, any ideas?

Does the manual adjustment still work using the switches on the seat, and are the positions changing based on which fob is used?

The seat switches still work normally, but I haven't considered the fob!
