Went to Plymouth this week, 98S Ultima TD Estate, stopped for fuel in Bristol, got back on motorway dreaded abs light was on! Got off at the next junction stopped engine and restarted abs light went out (sigh of relief) released brake pedal came back on! and stayed on. Now it wont go out. What is it with Plymouth? Where do I start? Where best do you measure the resistances of the sensors from?

The connections for the rear sensors are underneath the rear seats.

2 thin wires with a plastic sleeve cover, under on each side of the back seat ...... My ABS light came on after driving down the M1 when it was raining, think they got a bit dirty, But about a week after, the light stayed off and has never been back on since, Only when i turn the ignition on...........

Using tompions pinouts for the teves plug tracked it down to a rear sensor. All the rest showed about 1.085 ohms. After changing it and cleaning the ring Grr! it was still on! Having read about the 15MPH test drove it down the road and low and behold like magic it went out! NOT taking it to Plymouth again
