Engine stops right after start on mornings

If my car has been standing for a night, when I start the ignition, the engine stop right after start (within 0.5 - 1 second), even if I try to press accelrator.

On second attemp - it start (ususally, I press accel again. So don't know if it starts without accel). After this I can strat it without problems.

I changed spak plugs and fuel filter. I also recently (moth ro two ago) changed one of the ignition coils, because the car started shaking on low revs.

Now:
- it works good on idele revs (no shaking, revs are stable),
- on 2000-3000 there can be some smooth shakes with interval of 1-3 seconds.
- on above 4000 no shakes at all.

What might it be?  I can't even show it to mechant, because hot (even cold, but once started) car works fine.

Does it do it if you switch on, then leave for a few seconds before engaging starter?  Sounds like a fuel problem....

Thanks for suggestion. tried today evening. Waited for abou 5 seconds with ignitino ON before starting. Then it started good without any problems. The car was not used for 8-10 hours.

What I didn't said, or said wrong: i set up fuel filter only today. So I didn't test it with new filter yet (except this evening).

So this might be fixed by changing filter, and not by waiting.  I'll try to start it without any pause tomorrow morning.

PS: saying "fuel problem", do you mean a problem of fuel system or of a fuel itself?

Problem with the fuel being supplied to the injector rail. It might be a that it is draining back to the pump, could be a number of things, it is really a process of elimination. The fuel filter change may have cured the problem, lets hope so .  Others on here may have MORE constructive thoughts than me! Wink Wink

I wonder if it's a problem with the fuel pump relay, taking a second or two to switch the pump on  Undecided

I cannot hear the pump sound when i turn the ignition on. May be becase of air conditioner. I hear some working motor sound from the facial. I suppose it's conditioner

Anyway, I don't think the relay can give the delay. it should be either working or not.

It turned back again Sad

Even after waiting for several seconds from turning ignition on (to wait for pump) doesn't help: it starts and then stops. Second try works.

The 4-th cylynder seems to have a rich mixture. Because new spak plug isolator became brown after few kilometers (20-30). I exchanged ignition coils leaving sparks in their previous places, and nothing changed. So it's not the problem of ignition coil.

I have been measured the compression in cylinders. All are 13 bar.

The pump only runs briefly to pressurise the system then goes off until you turn the ignition fully.
If you turn on & off a couple of times the pump will run briefly each time which may pressurise it more before trying to start it.
