Problems with 7000 Series Stereo

Hi,

I've just noticed my wife's 7000 series stereo is not working correctly. The display has suddenly stopped showing anything and I think this is a common problem for them? Does anybody have a set of instructions etc  on the likely causes and repair instructions?

Otherwise does anybody have a 7000 series radio for me?

Cheers,

Yes I`ve got a working 7000 unit surplus to requirements. Its yours for what I got it for - £25+p&p.
Theres plenty of " fixes" for your display problem, but I`ve tried them all, and IMHO they dont generally solve the problem.  PM me if you are interested.  cheers Fred.

My display comes and goes also. I hadn't narrowed it down to either being too hot or too cold however during the recent cold spell the display has been absent throughout.........cold it is then!!

Awful bit of kit that I should have replaced when I first got the car nearly 12 years ago.
