possibly turbo failed? what type of noise is it making?
does it speed up and slow down with engine revs?

Any smoke under load?

if theres any damage to the push rod, ive got a set you can have

think it happens mostly when the car is in over run at higher revs, like i said before the jeeps (use the same engine) are known for it

other thinks to check is wear on the rocker arm and the tightness of them

also inspect you rocker cover carefully, again goin on the jeeps ones the push rod pops out it can crack the rocker cover slightly
