Leaking Washers

Evening All! For sometime now I've had a bit of a leak. Just a very small leak, but never-the-less a leak from the front off-side. I traced it tonight to the headlamp washer, it has been just dripping away like a wee devil, and draining my water-tank over a period of time! What a waste! It is the actual whole headlamp washer that's leaking, and what a female dog of a job to get the blasted thing removed. I had to take out the indicator/foglamp unit to un-screw the horrible little rusty screws that hold the unit in place! Also I think I've damaged the cover that sits level on the bumper, by trying to force it off, what a pillock! All is now working again, but I need another headlamp washer unit. Is there a secret way to remove that cover that sits level on the bumper without damaging it? Peter.

To replace my wife's headlamp washer I removed the front bumper which is quite any easy job for a facelift version. I believe the earlier cars had to remove the washer bottle etc to remove the front bumper. I don't know if your aware but their are three different types of washer units available. I've just replied to a post on the wanted section all about the different units available and prices from Ford.
