I wonder if anyone can help with a silly little problem I have with my 2.3 Ultima. A little while ago, I had to fit a new fuel tank as the previous one started rotting at the top. All is fine eccept that the fuel gauge only reads 3/4 when you fill it up. Can the gauge be calibrated and if so, how? Thanks for any help Brian

Brian. I've got one like that, been so since I bought it,just got used to it.Presumably you would need to bend the float arm down, bit of a game though after having had the tank off.If you still have the old tank you could measure the boot floor in relation to the unit and cut an access panel out. Have the same thing after fitting a tank by Klokkerholm. Fill it to max, then press trip reset until a beep. Press again a few times until the FUEL appears. Pretty sure it's between 54-57 litres Mine had a constant error across the range. I believe the 92-94 Granada had a tank very much like the Scorpio, hence they made one to fit both. Both are 70 litres, there's just some weird shape difference. Still waiting for time to bend the fuel arm
