Removing lock in rear hatch

I´ve got a car but no keys and have to take out a cylinder to have keys cut. Removing the one in the rear hatch seems to be the easiest way, especially since I´ve managed to open the hatch! Does anyone have a detailed description showing/telling how to do that without destroying anything or at least as little as possible? The car is a station wagon. Krister

http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/doorlockrep.htm Hi Krister, this is the door instructions but the estate is only a matter of removing the trim cover then you can see fairly easily how to remove the lock

Great - I´ll go ahead and try. The car is outdoor - and we have temperatures like 15 Centigrade negative and 50 - 60 cm deep snow! I am spoilt from the Land Rover world, where I have spare part catalogues and work shop manuals that are very detailed. In the spare part list you can see exactly how things are built... Does information like that exist for the Scorpio? Krister
