The wifes Scorp has just developed a problem with the rear O/S door lock. Basically it won't central lock or unlock. You have to manually lock & unlock it I've not had a chance to investigate yet, but anyone got any suggestions before I do ?

JC. Possibility of dirty pin in the door connector plug, failing that, faulty connection or dodgy lock motor, always a pest when it happens GOZZ.

Sorry for not updating this post.....I completely forgot about it The lock is all working again & there was no need to remove the door card & check wiring/motor .... Thinking that the door lock may have put out of sync.....possibly my 5 year old son tried to open it at the exact same point the wife had pressed the unlock button on the remote....or maybe he had opened the door from the inside & then pressed the handle back in before shutting the door (happens alot on my taxi rear doors, but locking & unlocking usually does the trick). I opened the drivers door & then with the door open, I pressed the lock button on the remote. All the working locks started to throw a wobbly (lock/unlocked about 3 or 4 times), & when it had stopped (on open) I shut the drivers door & locked it again with the remote....& hey presto!!!!...the rear O/S door lock worked again & is still working fine. Looks like the central locking had become confused for some reason ......
