The 2.0 Scorp has the same cat, but apart from that, I don't think you'll find another vehicle that shares the same cat

tiggerlit, you could probably find a cat as the box only, but you need to have it welded in place. But the price difference is probably not worth it, as it has an angle (E.g. some vauxhalls have a straight pipe below the car). On buypartsby.com the cat was £86.56+vat+7.50p&p. AFAIK it's the cheapest place in the world for scorpio cats. For some odd reason the 24V cats are cheaper per side, but IMHO they have similar complexity in the design based on the pictures (but different as Johnny says, won't fit).

tiggerlit. You may find that you won't be able to fit the aluminium shroud onto a pattern part cat,but this is not of much importance as I think it is there for appearance,to hide the rusty old manifold. GOZZ.

If it’s just the rattle you mentioned in your other thread you could leave it & see what happens. Mine rattled when I got the car but the rattle disappeared after a few months, the cat’s still on it 40,000 miles later. Down side to this is the brick could break up & block the pipe.

That's not an unusual event isn't it, the honeycomb thingy inside being loose and rattling? And stops when it heats up and expands (?) on Jun 30th, 2010, 9:03am, gozz wrote:tiggerlit. | Also to prevent setting fire to grass and things like that isn't it? If you're not parked on long dry grass, then fine! Yes the pattern one doesn't have the mounts for the shield(s), but my mechanic guy said most people leave them off anyway
