Hi all having gremlins and other electrical funny situations in your Cossie. Spotted this 24v loom on eBay - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ford-scorpio-cosworth-2-9-24v-engine-loom-/1304134 66424 From here I can judge neither quality nor suitability nor partnumber as there are at least two major versions: one group before 1996 and one after. In addition there are versions with/without PATS and no doubt LHD vs. RHD... Also visually it looks a bit shorter than the one I found in Germany, which turned out to be perfect. It looks as if it lacks the wiring to the rear ABS sensors but I could be wrong. It shows the big grommet and the 108-pin EEC-V connector but I cannot see the big ABS connector it should have in front. If it is complete it should be about 7 meters long and include all 4 ABS sensor connectors. HTH, Ray

If on ebay UK then most likely from a RHD car - the one you found in germany most likely from a LHD car. Guess they are somewhat different

Here's some pics of my treasure, which is my perfect LHD engine compartment loom from Germany, for reference. Also I include some partnumbers. I could not find other P/N for RHD though I might have overlooked them. As you will see, it holds more connectors incl. the big ABS and EEC-V connector and stretches well over 7 meters. It looks therefore as if the current eBay offer is a stripped loom which could be useful for replacing bad/brittle sections and connectors. http://picasaweb.google.nl/babpic123/ScorpioLHDEBayLoomMar10?authkey=Gv1 sRgCJvy9oHatPT1_AE&feat=directlink HTH, Ray
