2,5tdi 92kW starting problems

Hello to all lately i have encountered a problem with starting my car. Occasionally when turning the key starter turns OK but the car won't fire up. When i do the starting sequence again it fires up or i have to do the sequence again until it does fire up. Any suggestions what might be the problem? injectors? injector pump? wiring ?

May be glowplugs but it was the same with 30 deg celsius in the summer but not as often... will check that ... Battery was changed last autumn with the same type as was the last one which lasted for 4 years and i changed it because it didn't start the car below -20C.( its on my brothers gasoline powered car and works just fine)

if the glowplug light doesnt show on the dash it may also be the relay. p.s. EST = Estonia? if so you have better English than most of the English

nope glowplug light is on and when it disappears then i turn the key. But when i think about it then the starting problem is rather similar to the case when i don't wait the glowplug light to disappear and keep powering the starter. PS. I am from Estonia and i think my english is as good as it is (written English at least - u wouldn't want me hear speaking i guess... think of mika hakkinen speaking but even worse pronounciation) because i read a lot sci-fi and fantasy in english- i read books in my native language too quickly so its no fun anymore

EST is estuary speak, you know Kent and Essex down beside 'Old Farver Thames' Certain 'Jocks' speak better English than most of the English ! problem is we cannae ken the blether . A-way.if you remove the common connector from the top of the glow plugs you can test for continuity on each one, saves you removing them all. GOZZ.
