Heated front windscreen

Hello. Tried the heated front windscreen the other frosty morning, and only part of the windscreen de-frosted, about 4" of the screen in the middle. Also are there 2 relays for the heated front windscreen, i know there's one's in the battery fuse box but not sure where the other one is. Cheers Tony

Not sure how "hot" the windscreen is supposed to get TBH, I usually use hot air as well. Well, once you can get some hot air. Then there's gallons of melted water to mop up (OK I exaggerate) Think the electric windscreen heater is mostly to prevent fogging up on the inside, like speshly this time of year, park it in shadow for a bit, come back it's all misted up. It's a large area and seems quite prone to that. I think the inside surface is actually plastic not glass! With zillions of tiny wires in it. OK I exaggerate maybe dozens. May need a magnifying glass to see them. Maybe some of your wires have given up the ghost?
