Hi everyone, Need some help. After disconnecting the battery, my scorp won't start, it turns over but thats all that happens. It seems like there is no fuel coming to the injectors. And, I don't know if that means anything, my PATS light is rapidly flashing when I turn the key on position III. Misko

Have you tried locking then unlocking the car? Ckeck you've not missed one of the small black leads when reconnecting the -ve terminal of the battery Also check the fuel cut off switch in the boot

Hi, Yes I tried lock/unlocking it, I infact disconnected + terminal of the battery today, but I did so on many occasions and never had any problems. I checked also fuel cut-off switch (little red buttton in the trunk?), but I'm not sure if it needs to be pressed inside or depressed? And also I think there is no sound of fuel pump when turnin the ignition on

Leave your ignition on and see what code the Pats light flashes The engine does not start and LED remains off. 1. Check PATS system fuses 2. If alarm is fitted check if LED functions for alarm: if not check cigar lighter fuse (also used for LED) 3. If not go to main dealer Engine does not start: LED flashes rapidly Leave ignition on until the LED starts to flash a 2 digit code: (sequence- pause-sequence) Check the following codes: Code flashes: 1:3 Key code not received. Is key screened by other keys or objects? Try different key: if okay then first key is faulty. If not go to main dealer 1:4 Partial code only received. Try again. If not okay use different key. If not go to main dealer 1:5 Key not programmed into PATS. Program key as above using master 1:6 Faulty link between PATS module and EECV Go to main dealer p.s. can i ask why your battery was disconnected? is it in good condition?

Thanks Highlander, thats where the problem is..the PATS I tried with ignition on, and after flashing rapidliy it flashes 1:6 code, so I will need to go to the main delaer? or is there another way (the cheaper) to sort this problem. And I'm also curious how did this happened, by doing nothing but disconnecting the battery, was it just coincidence or...?

Thank you Highlander...again Fuse F37 was blown, after replacing it, car fires instantly and works just fine as it should be. It's very nice feeling fixing something by your own, and especially when the cost of repair is only few cents Misko

I suspect the battery being disconnected and reconnected may be the culprit since these fuses will be constantly live, might just have been a small surge, that fuse is only 7 amp

20 amp in the Handbook, but I agree probably from the battery disconnect.

Hi guys! Me again Unfortunately it went off again (F37)... 4-5 times already, it happens only when starting the car, not while driving, and not every time I start the car, every few days. The first time it hapened, I disconnected the battery, but I also changed the LPG filter (which is not that easy to acces, lots of wires around), and while doing that probably strained some wires, what do you think, any ideas?
