2.3 manual scorpio ultima ,i have a problem with the car ,when started from cold and driving off ,car is jerky for a few seconds ,then seems to clear and run fine,any ideas on the problem at all? cheers

Damp. Damaged coil-pack. What happens if you give it a couple of minutes to warm before driving? I had a similar problem last year at this time, turned out to be a crack in the outer casing of the coil-pack closest to the front of the car. Could be a fuel thing though.

My car does not like being started, driven out of the garage for example, switched off and then re started a short while later. It will always play about for a few moments until its sorts itself. I guess it is probably over fuelled and thus plays up until it burns off the excess.
