Does your car have three rear headrests?

If so you probably have a face lift and perceived wisdom is that puddle lights were deleted.....  Unless someone out there knows different. Grin

if its only got plastic reflectors it wont have puddle lights, the red lights illuminate along with the puddle lights.

They did away with them in 97, none of the facelifts had them but a few of the 97 pre-facelifts also didnt get them.

Are both yours Ultimas Gost? they only came as standard on the Ultima

Yep can confirm if it's just a simple rectangular plastic red reflector then you got no lights. If you did it would be a complete lamp unit instead, it's not like one bulb in the middle of the door that shines out through two lenses Grin

Where the bottom lamp would be is then a black plastic press-in blanking plate thingy. Or it is on mine anyway

Must be date of manufacture dependant. My Ultima doesn't even have the blanks for the puddle lights  Sad

That figures I guess. I wonder why they dumped it. More trouble than it was worth?
