gearbox oil and filter

Further to what has been discussed on changing oil etc I intend to do mine, as I'm now over the 100k mark. The only problem I have is occasional sudden drop out of drive, resulting in a spike of revs if I don't get me boot off the loud pedal pdq. It usually drops in again although sometimes not straight away - leaving me freewheeling with no power for a moment which could be a bit dangerous if on a roundabout for example. But it's usually on a run, not when working up through the gears. Anyway, new oil prob won't rectify the problem, but I intend to do it anyway. A mate of mine has an XJ and he's done his, and although he's a lorry driver he's pretty sharp on engineering matters (degree job). He considers it a wise move. So to come to the question, is the filter avail for a 24V?? Anybody recommend where to buy? Ford can do, but about £50!

Camberley Auto Factors didn't come up with anything although he thought if I had a part number he might be able to cross-ref it. Looks like it's going to cost £50 though whichever way. Thanks for that Tompion.

Excellent effort. Got on the blower to CAF (that's our local motor factor, usually pretty good) and their system produced a seal against that number so not so good today! I shall persevere...
