Mine did this the other daybut it stopped flashing after a while so i am guessing it was a side effect of low battery voltage

Yeah, could be low battery, if so a run will clear it, if not code read is order of the day first, before deciding what to poke / prod / kick / change LOL Regards Dave

"O/D" = overdrive, I presume yours is an auto Green button on side of transmission speed selector enables/disables overdrive (4th gear). Shows constant "O/D off" if, er, off... Doubles up as MIL (?) light, i.e. engine/transmission fault warning, which is when it flashes Or am I stating the obvious?

Can mean "Oh/Dear", but only when it flashes Bit unusual though to start flashing straightaway you turn it on. Could dodgy gearbox wiring do that? Hint ~ if I'm confined to speeds under 50 mph for a while (or not likely to see that much at all) I often turn O/D off.

Clarification ~ when I say "turn O/D off", the green light actually lights up and transmission is confined to gears 1 - 3. The normal state of affairs is no light and 4th is available.
