2.9 12v problems

Hi there Guys & Gals, Didn't use my 95 12v Ultima for 10 days until today. Ok on the journey to work this a.m. (26 miles) but on the return leg, half way thro', suddenly lost indicators both L & R and when I hit the m-way overdrive gone too. Additionally, when I took my foot off the accelerator pedal revs dropped off to ~ 1000rpm. Normally stays high when in gear (I think) except when coasting in neutral. I couldn't find a separate fuse for the indicators listed in the handbook but hazards are working fine. Perhaps the indicator stalk has developed a fault? All suggestions greatly appreciated. Geoff.

Indicators are covered by Fuse 14 in th Auxillary (Passenger side) fuse box. Also tail lights and brake lights
