trunk lid will not open

Hello,
my name is Thomas from Germany and i need your help.

...days hooked the trunk lock. So the key to my Limo is indeed pure, can be a whole lot turn, but then does nothing more. So it looks as if the lock cylinder is damaged. The lock can be pushed too, but it just seems to be completed still. Now I had hope that I - when I finally have a remote control (which I have now) - pops open the trunk, when I press the corresponding Knopp on the RC.

 Nope!

The turn signal flashing, but the lid stays down.

Did anyone even the slightest idea what I might be lying?

Would be grateful for any tip!

Update!

 Power comes from everywhere

 Servomotor ok

Sensor on the lock cylinder also ok

 Alarm system is not working

-When you press the remote (trunk) of the car is still blinking 1x

-No noise on the trunk lid

Lock cylinder can be pushed in the normal way (nothing happens)

Control unit under the glove compartment "clacks " also

 And now?

Best regards
Thomas from Germany

Hello Thomas and Welcome to the site Grin

Is this a saloon?

Could the bonnet just be stuck? the rubber seal sometimes sticks to the body even with the lock open.

I have sometimes had to use a screwdriver to lever the bonnet up.

The alarm system doesnt work?

Does the PATS light show a code?

Does the car start?

Can you release the boot lock from inside the car?

Hi and thanks for the reply.
Yes, the car is a sedan and driving normally. It also works all in the car.
Only the trunk will not open.
Neither the remote or with any key.
I need the rear seat folded down from the inside to open the trunk.
However, the alarm system does not, as I noted yesterday.

Are you pressing the remote button twice (or more)?

My handbook only says press the centre button, but you need to press it twice.

This seems exactly the same as what someone else had recently? And was that one ever resolved?

Will not work by remote or button, but that can be explained by servo motor not working.

But also, will not open by key either! But the key is direct mechanical link to the latch.

Thomas, Highlander is correct when he says that if the rubber seal sticks to the trunk lid it can be extremely strong. I would try a combination of key + brute force, but don't try to open by pulling up on the key, use leverage under the edge
