Both fans should run together....slow when getting a little too warm & fast when aircon is switched on to cool the condensor through the rad Could be the same problem as I had with my right hand fan recently, in that it wouldn't come on unless I touched the connector. Wasn't the plug at fault though, it was the fan connection that was wiggly & loosing the connection. So did I replace the fan ?...nope...... Me being a skinflint & an Essex bodger to boot ....a bit of Plastic Padding Chemical Metal (that was lying about in the shed) applied around the fan connector to stop it wiggling about & hold it tight....& the problem was fixed I did take the fan out to see if it could be taken apart & any solder joints be re-soldered, but it seems to be a sealed unit

hi there also check the connections at the big green relay. your 1 fan is running fast because it's getting 12v instead of the 12v between the 2 (ie 6v each). hth

Sorted dirty connections both on the power in lead and the green relay, works a treat. Thanks all for advice
