The bleed hole is there to prevent the bearing being ruined by coolant.

In the meantime I put a request in to the local fire brigade to follow me around when i'm driving to keep the water topped up.  Grin Grin

I have mailed the people that sent offers of pumps again and still no replies so could mean they weren't the right ones they were offering Undecided

Gasket usually comes with it, if not "Specialised Engines" of Essex seem to do all the 24V Gaskets individually.

I recently bought 2 sets of timing case and timing chain tensioner, plus intake gaskets from them as separate items  Smiley

Not silly prices either and postal service  Smiley

If you can't get hold of one, would the old fashioned way work by making your own out of gasket paper and/or liquid gasket ?

Just seen this - 24v waterpumps should be available from FPUK (£175). Bought 1 a couple of months ago after the spindle started leaking.
