A Couple of Questions

I have today discovered that my Near-Side Rear-Bearing is slightly slack again, what a pity.   Those might remember that I replaced the Off-Side-Hub and bearing this time last year.   Incidently, my first question is, I thought I'd done a picture/story about replacing the rear hub bearing, can't find it anywhere on here?   Maybe I didn't?   I did replace the bearing only on the near-side at around the same time, and wondered whether it would last very long!   Oh well, I'll just have to bite the bullet and replace the Hub on the near-side as well.

Below you will see a wee picture of the underside of the bonnet, is that 'heated-washer-jets' I see?   If so how do they work, because they don't seem to work very well in the winter!

Yes it appears to be.. I THINK they only function when the heated front screen is switched on BUT the wiring to them is very fragile You need to remove one of the jets to check if it is still intact at the actual jet. Often it is corroded away at that point. Frankly best left until you can try in the winter as you could do more harm by disturbing them. Wink

As Mike say's at least one of the wires break off and usually right close to the jet.
