Hi , is there any easy way to open the boot from inside, via the back seats, any help/advice would be gratefully received

I'm guessing it means crawling inside, then you have to get the interior lid trim off. Then find the bit that the lock motor pushes and work that. Basically means grovelling about in the dark

If you take the trim off you can push the lever and open it
