I recently had a problem with a rear caliper on my scorpio estate. In order to keep on the road I accepted a caliper and solid disc from another scorpio saloon while I am trying to source a vented disc caliper. Is this a dangerous arrangement.

Not ideal but the rear brakes only do about 30% of the braking. That side could fade a bit under hard braking.
