so I bought foglights, headlight switch and relay everything in place, relay in R9 front foglights work only in parking light position. when in dipped/main position even the front foglight symbol light won't come on. I read that in some countries there's also R35, somewhere behind instrument panel, can someone please tell me, where exactly is it. Car is bought from Sweden. Thanks already!

Originally car didn't have foglamps, so i bought them and headlight switch with both (front and rear) fog functions on it (from a scrap scorpio), and relay (R9). Is it possible that switch just works that way (Front fogs only work with parking light position)? Is there any diagram/picture from headlight switch where you can see what pin is what?

No that doesn't sound right at all, supposed to be: -1. park (anti-clockwise) 0. off 2. side lights [dim dip] (clockwise) 3. head lights Only possible in position #3: pull out 1 step: front fogs pull out 2 steps: rear fogs (+ front) Somewhere there must be connections for the pull out #1, at the moment it sounds like you've got them wired from the dim-dip function? Dim-dip is done by a relay which is only activated through: 1. ignition switch and, 2. side lights position of lighting switch (pos #1), BUT, this particular output is only 'live' in this one position, in all other positions it's off so no dim-dip.

| Sorry, I writed wrong. Front fogs only work on position 2. Side lights [dim dip] So I was wondering, if there's one pin behind switch where should come input for front fogs, if I could "hotwired" from headlights

Yes I understood, that is not correct as you have said, should only be possible to operate fogs in position 3. Position 2 is not right. According to wiring diagram there should be separate outputs on the light switch which are specific to fog lights, both front & rear.

| I believe it should be possible to work both, position 2 and 3, here in Finland. I was wondering if there' some pin for fog triggering, so i could jump trigger current from position 3 headlight output to fog input, diode in between of course?
